DJ wOW grew up around the music since a young age and he has been involved with some kind of musical activity for most of the life. From his early teens he developed a taste for music. Now his featured music styles are Soulful, Funky and Deep. His mixes are always unusual and full of the experiments within these styles of House.
Spinning CD’s, he is especially recognised for his own artistic style. His sound is extremely energetic and blended up with soul vocals, funky and soulful beats fused together to create an intense uplifting energy. Each performance is a unique experience as his way of connecting with the dance floor changes with each venue. However, he maintains consistency through his unbeaten objective of delivering fun.
He would like to be associated with a smile and he’s sincerely interested in the success of all parties involved during his performances.
Playing on the special house parties with other DJs, his music merges together. Recently he has been visiting the capital of Lithuania where he was playing on “Filtered tools” parties as a headliner of the show parties. In the present, he works with Dj Pols in the "Essential club". Every single weekend in the Pink Room a different world is created by DJ wOW and DJ Pols. At that given moment only one world exists: Their World. Their Rules. Their Music. Distant from the routine life everyone is used to live. They set up their World the way that people can’t wait for the next weekend to live through that feeling again... and again. Besides their own audience they have their own music style: The Pink House that is also full of colors, feelings, emotions. In 2004 DJ got to know the passion of Iberican and Balearic rhythms, which was a great discovery for the DJ wOW. Sometimes in his mixes all of these styles melodies can be found, and he admits that still this pleasant sensation of hot rhythms makes him feel gratified and joyous.
At the same time, in 2004, he found his pleasure in the little known Trentemoller tracks, and there was the origin of his love to Deep House.
He organized his own bizarre parties, which were always set up to satisfy clubber’s desires as much as possible. One of the successfully lead parties is "SUMMERtown", which had four sessions in club "Tonuss" in 1 year (2004-2005) with the best foreign headliners, concept installation and organising show.
In addition, he organized orange and green night of "Move Session" in cinema "Riga". Two sessions lead him together with the association "4music" in 2004, which has changed the traditions of the club actions.
Another party was Open Air "Miami Night" - atmosphere of sand, water, and nature connected with soul - in the end of summer 2004, and 2005 gave everyone an extraordinary feeling of being a part of the music that DJ’s gave to the audience. Dancing in the moonlight, seeing the stars, feeling the music from from the hair follicles to the toenails is what everyone wants to give the people and this is what DJ wOW achieved successfully.
From 2005 to 2007 he was working in the weekly youth magazine “EN”, where he in collaboration with the famous DJ Bogdan Taran carried a column about the city night life.
In the year of 2008 he seriously got involved in the producing. He mixed and mastered his first quality compositions and he really has to be proud about some of them. The remixes of Flyingmice & Dj Crash – Back to Chicago were the best impulse for the artist to begin his journey in the right direction. It was the first step in the direction he was looking for but he couldn’t find since 2006.
And, most importantly, he thinks that it’s not enough if music goes though the mind, it must flow though the soul.
