Rise To The Bait is a 5-piece European metal band from Riga, Latvia, formed by Max Jakovlevs and Rihards Lozins in early 2012. Currently unsigned and looking for a label, the band is going to release their debut EP “Nemesis” in late summer 2013.
History: The band started off as a small project, and as the line-up began to settle in, the band started to work on the upcoming album. On 1st of May, 2013 the band premiered their first music video for the song "I Will Take My Crown".
Musical Style: Rise To The Bait is crossing multiple heavy metal sub-genres, such as melodic metalcore, post-hardcore and progressive metal. The band uses off time breakdowns combined with lead guitar riffs on the top of them, mixing melodic parts with the heavy riffs and expressive vocals.
The current lineup consists of:
Rihards (Kenny) Lozins - Vocals
Maksis Jakovlevs – Guitars
Pavel Trebukhin - Guitars
Victor Loss - Bass
Rihards Spacs - Drums
