DJ NEi real name Mr. Janis Leinerts-Neilands was born 1980 and raised in ex soviet union republic by the Baltic sea Latvia, Ventspils city. At the age of 17 (1997) years young NEi discovered for himself a form and style of electronic dance music called Techno by inspiration from pioneers of Latvian Electro-Techno scene DJ’ AG & Raitis and they DJ-sets on radio shows like "Mind Games" and "Defekts". Since that time NEi started to buy records and DJ-ing in the small private party’s in Ventspils later DJ NEi become a regular guest in the party’s and clubs a cross the Latvia: Club’s like: SPACE:GARAGE, Tonuss, Metro, M-808, Pablo, Depo, Pulse, Pastnieka Maja, Super FM, Juras Varti also festivals like: Tabuns, Save The Vinyl, Trincstok, Sintetiska Sircapzina, Ruckas Vilni, Techno Karneval, Atumn Voyage Machines, Meza Ritmi, Baltic Rainbows and 3 illigal events on parking place by Baltic sea in Ventspils 2003’ From this 2009 year october NEi have a radio prgramm on the internet radio station Tik Tak Radio and once in the week on thursday's electronic music by my selection sounds on the i-net waves link to station: http://tiktakradio.com. In the year of 1999’ NEi visited party called Barckley Art+Party with Techno nd House music legends like Mr. Derrcik May a.k.a. Rhythm Is Rhythm, Mayday and Mr. Eddie „Flashin” Folwkes from Detroit, St. Michigan, USA and this was awesome experience to hear thiese guys playin’ live they DJ-sets whole night. At the age 19 NEi started to experimented with sounds and make they own tracks and couple of tiese tracks was released on underground electronic music label called Dabas Raksti compilation series „Ventspils Music” vol. 1,2,3 CDr and in year 2005’ comes out first demo album „Tinplate” CDr on NEi’s homebase label Trap Tracks.
