My chosen artist name is Danny Vitto and at the moment I live In United Kingdom, city called Hull. Originally, my name is Dainis Vitols and my hometown is Jelgava (City in Latvia).
Music was always something I was very passionate about. While living in Latvia my first main obsessions become guitars and rock/grunge music. Artists like Nirvana, Metallica and many others of the kind, influenced me... When moved to Uk, where electronic music was developing with a huge speed and success, DJing took over my interests. Due to being a fan of quiet heavy music, I was always looking for the heavy side of electronic music, and finally I came across genre called Drum & Bass. After a while trying out DJing, I started to get curious about producing. At beginning, everything seemed like rocket science, but after some time of researching and two year studying Audio & Video production course, things get easier. Later I realized that money is one of the first hardest steps to begin produce your own music, due to good equipment costs tons of cash :D... Time when I was DJing, made me better understand Drum & Bass genre and different types of it, like Deep, Neurofunk, Liquid, Jump-up, Half-step etc...
Going trough stages from deep to heavy drum n bass, my favourite type always was Liquid drum n bass. A huge impact on my motivation for producing music, brought artists like, Noisia, Nymfo, Lenzman, S.P.Y, High Contrast, Netsky, Rockwell, Utah Jazz, Donnie Dubson, Amit and many others.
I am still learning and experimenting with this great field, called music industry and studying a degree in music production to help me get in my desired place in life. Recording music, DJing and playing guitar are my favourite hobbies and that makes composing even more enjoyable...

There's an advice to any one who's starting or just have a thoughts about making own music, - there are no limits or certain rules how music should sound or how it should be made, it's all about what you enjoy, and most important- once you started something, don't give up... ;)
