From Estonia comes a trio with the weirdest musical taste. Drawing influences from several genres as contradictory as EBM, Gothic Wave, Trip Hop, Breakbeat, SynthPop, Shoegaze, Industrial, Jazz, and Death & Black Metal, it is almost incomprehensive how they manage to make everything fit together in different stages of mixture, and how they manage to fit such controversial diversity upon one and the same album! I dare say, the musicians have somewhat of musical genius, but maybe the overall name they give their music (Lysergic Deathbeat) has something to do with their influences as well (the word 'lysergic' is best known from LSD aka 'acid').

Forgotten Sunrise has existed for 15 years, has released many different kind of releases and given a lot of gigs in Estonia and in its neighbouring countries. FS has played with Hocico, Combichrist, Dimmu Borgir, Accessory, Grendel, Katatonia, Moonspell, Mortiis, Spetsnaz, Destruction, , Susperia etc. FS was also chosen as the warm-up performer for Rammstein in Estonia but due to unfortunate events their partake was cancelled. The worthwhile debut album “Ru:mipu:dus” was released in January 2004 under Italian „My Kingdom Music“. The legendary LA Industrial horrorfigure Ghost from G.G.F.H. also gave his contribution to the variegated sound of “Ru:mipu:dus” (guest vocal + remix). The album was followed by a very positive and exalting reviews. The style they call Deathbeat – was born! By now there have been changes in the band`s line-up, but the style keeps growing and evolving, so only time can tell what the future has to offer. The second album “Willand” was released on the 17th of April.
